Frederick Anton, JD, is a distinguished reinsurance professional with an illustrious career spanning over 25 years, during which he has held influential roles at prestigious reinsurance firms. With expertise in navigating complex reinsurance contracts and claims issues, Fred has established himself as a leading authority in reinsurance risk financing, data analysis, and business management.
Fred was a treaty reinsurance broker in London in the mid-nineties, during which time he successfully placed U.S. property and specialty lines reinsurance contracts in prestigious markets such as Lloyd’s of London. His time in London coincided with the formation of Equitas – the most important property/casualty run-off vehicle ever.
Fred has held executive positions at Towers Perrin Reinsurance, JLT Re, and Guy Carpenter, where he served as Senior Vice President until joining Promethean Risk Solutions in July 2023.
He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He has achieved the designation of Associate in Reinsurance and has a certification in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
